Terms & Conditions
Effective 7 September 2026
These terms apply to all orders placed with DIY RV Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 64 696 450 236), whether placed through our online store, by phone, or against a written quote. Placing an order means you accept them.
These terms prevail over any terms or conditions attached to a customer purchase order, whether or not we have signed them.
About our products
Every product we sell is hand made to order in our workshop at 1/10 Jones Rd, Capalaba QLD 4157. We do not hold a general stock of finished goods. Your order is built for you, which is why our payment and cancellation terms are set out clearly below.
Order acceptance
An order confirmation is not acceptance of your order. We may decline any order, and will tell you promptly and refund you in full if we do.
Payment
Online store orders are payable in full at checkout. The deposit terms below apply to quoted work invoiced directly by us.
- Orders of $5,000 and under are payable in full at the time of booking.
- Orders over $5,000 and up to $10,000 require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due before dispatch.
- Orders over $10,000 require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, a further 25% two weeks after the deposit is received, and the balance before dispatch. If your order is ready within two weeks, the progress payment is skipped and the balance simply falls due.
- Pop top and hi-top roof conversions require a $5,000 deposit regardless of order value. That deposit secures your workshop start date.
If a progress payment is not made, your build pauses until it is, and the delay is added to your lead time.
No work begins on your order until payment is received, whether that is the full amount or a deposit.
Nothing leaves our workshop until your order is paid in full, product and freight both. This applies to freighted orders, collection from our workshop, and release of your vehicle after fitted work. Goods remain the property of DIY RV Solutions Pty Ltd until payment is received in full.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. Quoted prices are held for 30 days from the date of the quote. We accept credit and debit cards and direct deposit.
Lead times
Our current production time is 3 to 4 weeks, counted from the day your payment is received rather than the day your order is placed. If your order is going to run over that, we will let you know.
Lead times are estimates given in good faith. We are not liable for loss arising from a delayed delivery.
We sometimes have finished items on the shelf. If you need something sooner, ring us on (07) 3191 1889 and we will tell you what is available.
Fitted work
Fitted work is a two step process. Your product is manufactured first, and your installation is booked separately. Please ring us to book your installation slot at the time you place your order.
Installation dates require 14 days notice to reschedule. Where an installation is rescheduled inside 14 days, or your vehicle is not presented on the agreed date, a $500 rebooking fee is added to your final invoice. This covers the workshop bay we have held and cannot refill at short notice.
Freight and delivery
We ship within Australia only.
Freight is quoted per order. Carriers bid on each job, so the figure moves between quotes and we pass on the best price we find. Freight and packing are not included in product prices.
You are welcome to collect your order from our Capalaba workshop, in which case no freight or packing charges apply. Please ring us to arrange a collection time.
Where you order more than one item, we may deliver them separately if they are not ready at the same time. We will let you know if that is the case.
Every product is photographed crated and dated before it leaves us. These photos are available on request.
Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address entered on your order.
Checking your delivery
Please inspect your order on arrival, including opening the crate. Report any fault, damage or incorrect item to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs.
Transit damage claims must be lodged with the carrier promptly, and we cannot pursue a claim on your behalf once that window has closed. Opening your crate on arrival protects both of us.
Changing or cancelling your order
You may cancel your order within 48 hours of placing it, or at any time before your production start date if that comes first, for a full refund. This applies to online store orders, deposits and orders paid in full alike.
After that point, we retain 40% of the product price. That retention covers the materials ordered for your job, your place in our production schedule and, where installation is included, the workshop time held for your vehicle.

Freight is refunded in full if we have not yet paid the carrier, and is not refunded once we have.
Returns
If you change your mind about a finished product, you may return it. We retain 40% of the product price, you pay the return freight, and the product must reach us at 1/10 Jones Rd, Capalaba QLD 4157 before any refund is paid. Returned products must be in as new, uninstalled condition.
Some products cannot be returned, because they cannot be sold to another customer:
- Products made to non-standard dimensions, including cubicles built shorter or taller than our standard specification and door panels cut to size.
- Fitted work, once the part has been installed on your vehicle.
These products are still covered by our warranty below.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit, so please pack and insure accordingly.
Warranty
We warrant our products for 12 months from delivery against manufacturing defects.
Where a product is defective, we will repair or replace the affected part. The faulty part must be returned to us before a replacement is sent out.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused during installation, damage caused by misuse or modification, or normal wear.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Pricing errors
Where a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical or supplier error, we may refuse or cancel the order, whether or not it has been confirmed. If you have already paid, you will be refunded in full.

This site is owned and operated by DIY RV Solutions Pty Ltd. All content on it, including our product photographs, installation guides, text, logos and graphics, is our property, as is the selection and arrangement of that content. No material from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any form without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Unauthorised use may breach copyright, trademark and other applicable laws.
Links to other sites
This site may contain links to sites owned and operated by others. We are not responsible for the operation of those sites or for anything found on them.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the price you paid for the product, except where the Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published on the day you placed it. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
